Finca Montecristo covers 140 hectares and lies at an altitude of over 1,400 meters above sea level. The soil is rich, volcanic, and the coffee grows in the shade of the trees. Lemons and avocados are also grown on the farm. The hand-harvested coffee beans are processed on the farm itself in a natural way. This means that whole coffee beans are spread out in thin layers and placed on raised beds from the ground to dry in the sun. The cup offers notes of dark chocolate and apple.
