Bom Sucesso has been owned by the same family for over 100 years. Four generations have passed since Francisco Teophilio Reis Neto bought the property and farm in 1900. Maria de Fatima Silva Marques da Fonseca is currently looking after the property. On the farm, they can rely on five permanent collaborators, with whom they have been working for over 20 years, and they have technical support from the COCARIVE cooperative and the Emater MG organization (a government organization to help farmers in the Minas Gerais region). These two skilled teams provide support in planting, processing and storage methods, as well as providing access to the latest processing infrastructure.
All members of the COCARIVE cooperative have the PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) certificate and are also certified by the BSCA (Brazilian Specialty Coffee Association). This certificate ensures that all aspects of work on the farm are carried out legally. It also ensures the implementation of environmentally friendly practices on the farm throughout all production processes.
All this ensures the best that Brazilian coffees have to offer. Of course, there is no shortage of notes of chocolate and nuts.
